The Greatest Showman
B.S. OLD FASHIONED
old forester bourbon,
black walnut bitters, sugar, finished with applewood and hickory smoke
The first use of the name “Old Fashioned” for a Bourbon whisky cocktail dates back to 1881. The recipe was said to have been invented by a bartender in honour of Colonel James E Pepper a prominent bourbon distiller, who brought it to a bar in New York City. Variations are endless, try ours!
PINA COLADA
mount gay eclipse, malibu, lime, sugar, pineapple, coconut cream, coconut lime foam
Yet another classic, so the story goes in the 19th century a Puerto Rican Pirate called Roberto Cofresi used to load up his fellow Pirates with coconut, pineapple and white rum. Arrrrr me hearty.
PORN STAR
vanilla vodka, crème de passion, lime, sugar, prosecco
This slightly risqué sounding porn star martini, is actually an elegant, fragrant cocktail. No need to drink this in your undies.
NIGHTS IN WHITE SATIN
vodka, tia maria, moo juice (milk)
The Big Lebowski was onto something with this creamy, coffee flavoured cocktail. A healthy dose of vodka in the mix, ensures that “the dude abides”
BOSTON GOONS
el jimador tequila, Crème de cassis, lime, dry ginger
One of the handsome goons behind the bar came up with this pearler, the long-lost cousin of the tequila sunrise.
SUNSHINE SPRITZ
finlandia vodka, aperol, pineapple, lemon, prosecco
Aperol is getting more attention than the Kardashians. If you’re one of those hipsters with the beard and rolled up pants, this is definitely the drink for you.
PIRATES TREASURE
appleton rum, liquor 43, pineapple, passionfruit, lime, mint
Daiquiri is also the name of a beach and an iron mine near Santiago De Cuba. The drink was supposedly invented by an American mining engineer, named Jennings Cox, who was in Cuba at the time of the Spanish–American War.
Ask your bar staff for flavour variations.
PROHIBITION SOUR
woodford rye, amaretto, maple syrup, lemon, egg white, cherry bitters
This is the Boston Shaker take on the classic Sour, almond flavours.
MR POLAND'S NEGRONI
boodles gin, campari, belsazar rosso
Mr Poland’s Negroni first mixed at Calle Casoni in 1919 for Count Negroni. The Count was tired of his favorite cocktail the Americano so asked a bartender to substitute the soda for gin, and so was born the Negroni. Just like the count Mr Poland was tired of the classic Negroni, this, with addition of smoke in the making adding another layer.
